Dr. Bret W. Trent, a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, strives to provide exceptional, honest dental care for his patients. He prides himself on building great relationships with patients, as he understands the importance of treating the entire person, not just their teeth. It is his goal to tailor every treatment plan to fit each patient’s individual needs.

Originally from Iowa, Dr. Trent has been practicing at OakPark Dental since 2007. He enjoys performing all dental services, but has a special interest in cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry. He has been trained to both place and restore implants using CT technology, and has attended the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) Education seminars for sedation dentistry. Dr. Trent obtained his oral conscious sedation permit from the state of Wisconsin Board of Examiners in 2009. He has also earned Fellowship status in the International College of Oral Implantologists.

In his free time, he enjoys all sports, golfing, fishing, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife, Sara, his sons Walt, Hank and Fletcher. He is also an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs fan.
